Habitat for Humanity
This summer seven winners of a Schlesinger Associates draw took
part in our annual Habitat For Humanity initiative. The team headed
for Slidell in Louisiana - a town which suffered extensive damage
from the effects of hurricane Kartrina. Many people still live in
substandard housing or are homeless so they joined a home and
community-building project for people most in need in the area.
Jennifer Smith, our Human Resources Director said of her
experience, "I believe we all walked away from this project
learning not only more about building homes but more about
ourselves. Working as a team and pushing yourself to accomplish a
goal, leaves you with a feeling of personal satisfaction you can’t
really describe. Volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, you feel
connected with the dedication of Habitat which offers you the
chance to make a small but important contribution to help a family
in need."

SEEDS Update
SEEDS is a Marketing Research outreach program through which
staff members from Schlesinger Associates, Roger Green &
Associates and SEEK Research volunteer their time where it is most
needed in the community.
A big Thank You to all our marketing research colleagues who
helped feed the hungry this summer.
On July 22nd, over 30 companies will came together
again to feed the hungry in their local communities.
- They served nearly 1,000 meals
- They volunteered and donated to 24 Feed America locations
throughout the country
- They funded 9,050 meals through cash donations
- They packed 2,000 meal boxes for distribution to seniors
and children
