Young Professionals Grant

Steve Schlesinger and Merrill Dubrow, CEO of M/A/R/C Research have once again collaborated with The Qualitative Research Consultants Association (QRCA) to fund the Young Professionals Grant.

Now in its third year, the Young Professionals Grant program helps young qualitative research professionals enhance their skills by giving them the opportunity to engage with the QRCA and its members at the association’s annual conference.

Ten accomplished young qualitative researchers will be given a pass to the 2017 Annual Conference, in Los Angeles, CA, January 18-20, 2017.  In previous years, nearly 200 applicants applied for this prestigious opportunity.

Individuals aged 35 or younger are welcome to apply for the YPG.  To qualify, applicants’ primary professional role must consist of designing, conducting and or analyzing qualitative research or are in training to conduct these activities. Applicants can be independent consultants, employees of strategic consulting firms, product/service development firms, academics or corporate researchers. Recipients cannot work for an advertising agency or product manufacturer.

Commenting on the initiative, Steve Schlesinger said, “Merrill and I are passionate about the future of our industry and supporting the next generation of market researchers.” Merrill Dubrow added, “We are therefore excited to be providing young professionals with this opportunity to engage with the industry and develop their expertise.”

Monica Zinchiak, President of the QRCA, said, “I cannot think of two more perfect partners to help cultivate our industry’s next generation of professionals.  Mr. Schlesinger and Mr. Dubrow share the QRCA’s commitment to supporting young researchers in the market research industry.”
